EARLY INTERVENTION DEVELOPMENTAL THERAPIST

The Engle Developmental Group is looking to hire a part-time and/or full-time Early Intervention Developmental Therapist. Experienced is preferred but willing to work with new college grads as well. We offer a flexible schedule and competitive pay based on experience. The ideal candidate is passionate about working with children and families.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree or higher in the following (no exceptions):

    • Early Childhood Education

    • Early Childhood Special Education

    • Special Education

    • Special Education: Deaf/Hard of Hearing or Blind/Partially Sighted

    • Child Development/Family Studies

    • Early Intervention or Elementary Education

  • Illinois Early Intervention credential required or obtained before employment.

Must possess a valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to a vehicle to travel in the Chicago metropolitan area. This position requires site visits to locations which may not be accessible by train/bus.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Provide treatment for children in a home-based/natural environment setting. The children are from the age ranges of birth - 3 years old. Good communication skills with families. Report writing experience preferred and discuss goals and treatment plans with caregiver.
